Bonnie MacRae-Kilb lives in Calgary, Alberta, and was born into a family where aesthetic pursuits were commonplace.  Grandparents on both sides of her family were visual artists.

Bonnie studied Art and Kinesiology at The University of Calgary where she received a Canada Council for the Arts Award to pursue print making under the direction of internationally acclaimed printmaker William (Bill) Laing. She also spent more than a decade travelling the world developing her artistic interests and athletic strengths as a member of The Canadian National Volleyball Team and playing professional volleyball in Italy and Switzerland.

She spent a couple decades as an Interior Designer, but currently is a full-time artist, painting ‘on her own terms’.
